This is what I don’t like being diagnosed with ovarian cancer all the time I have been to the doctor for Pap smears in mammograms and bloodwork they never tell you about the CA 125 bloodwork I think that is so bad for a lot of us women cause we don’t know mines was almost a 10,000 and supposed to be at a 38 since I’ve been doing chemo. It has dropped now to 377. I just hope and pray this chemo is working.

CA-125 testing isn't routinely offered as a screening tool because it can miss early-stage ovarian cancer and may show elevated levels for non-cancerous conditions, which is why medical organizations don't recommend it for general screening. It's encouraging to hear that your levels have dropped significantly with treatment, and many community members here have found it helpful to discuss testing options and treatment monitoring with their care teams to better understand their specific situation.
