3 months agoI'm going through leukemia treatment and have been dealing with anxiety. It started out severe but has improved to moderate levels recently. I know anxiety is common during cancer treatment, with all the uncertainty and changes that come with it. My care team has been helpful, but I'd love to connect with others who have been through something similar. If you experienced anxiety during leukemia treatment, I'd appreciate hearing about your experience and any tips that helped you cope. • What did managing anxiety look like for you during treatment? • Are there specific things that helped you feel more at ease during this time?

3 months agoThank you for sharing your experience and reaching out to the community. Anxiety during cancer treatment is incredibly common, and it's encouraging to hear that yours has improved from severe to moderate levels with the support of your care team. Many community members who have walked similar paths often find that connecting with others, maintaining routines when possible, and using relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation can be helpful coping strategies. Hopefully, others in the community will share their experiences and what worked for them during their treatment journey.

3 months agoI don’t take anything for anxiety . Except I vaped indica medical marijuana instead . But using it could be considered a sin by most churches . And smoking during treatment is Probably not recommended due to blood clots . A treatment plan for me, has been lots of prayer , reading the bible , and watching healing ministries on YouTube. Although these are not considered treatment plans , they have helped . Prayers for you . 🙏

10 days agoWhat kind of leukemia? I have been battling SLL for over 12 years along with PCV. That’s two incurable blood cancers. Point is, you can live a long time with cancer if you fight it along the way. That means changing your diet and managing your stress. Stress/anxiety - will kill you. I have dark days but even dark days are days. Look for joy in each day since we don’t know how many days are left. Reality is, know one knows, people get killed in accidents every day but you are alive. Yes we are sick, so do your best to get healthy and enjoy each day.
