What is life expectancy after HCC diagnosis with and without treatment?

I was diagnosed with HCC one month ago and was given 4 to 6 months without treatment or 1 to 3 years to live with treatment which was supposed be Immunotherapy since then my treatment has been changed to tablets this is due to blood clotting and my heart condition. I never started my immunotherapy and due to start my tablets this week. I have felt fine up to very recently and used to walk 10-12k steps per day but now I can only manage 2-3k steps without resting, my legs are a little swollen but not too bad, is this lack in energy normal for my stage of liver cancer?

Life expectancy with HCC varies greatly between individuals and depends on many factors including cancer stage, overall health, and how well someone responds to treatment. The changes in energy levels and physical symptoms described are commonly experienced by people managing liver cancer, as the body works harder to cope with both the disease and treatment effects. Speaking with the medical team about these recent changes would be helpful, as they can provide personalized guidance and potentially suggest ways to manage fatigue and other symptoms during this treatment transition.

As an update I was hospitalized two weeks ago as I couldn’t breathe, they ended up draining 9/10’s of a liter of fluid from my right lung, they did not drain my abdomen as there was less of a build up of fluid and as my liver has expanded they did not wish to take a chance with the drainage needle being so close to my liver. I can breath much better and now walk much longer with better energy. I was told that my Liver Cancer was the cause of the fluid build up. I started my treatment at the same time 3x4 mg of Lenvima capsules per day but under my oncologist’s instructions i have stopped taking them for a couple of days due to heavy itching of the skin. When the inching subsides I can go back to the Lenvima with two capsules per day rather than three capsules per day. I hope this itching stops and taking two capsules a day works. Time will tell.
