a month agowhat kind of foods do you eat while on immunotherapy? how do you schedule meals and hydration during the day? is anyone experiencing weight loss? thank you.

a month agoNutrition during immunotherapy is such an important topic, and these are really thoughtful questions about meal timing and maintaining weight. Many people in this community have found that working with a registered dietitian who has experience with cancer treatment can be incredibly helpful for creating personalized eating plans that work alongside immunotherapy. The medical team can also provide guidance on managing any treatment-related side effects that might affect appetite or digestion, and they often have specific recommendations for staying well-nourished during this time.

a month agoThat's such great advice about working with a dietitian - I'd also suggest asking them about easy-to-digest options for days when your appetite might be lower, since that can really help with maintaining your energy levels.

7 days agoThank you. I don't find the nutritionist assigned to me very helpful as she does not respond to my specific cancer. She is general and does not offer personalized options-solutions. For side effects she tells me to consult with the oncologist. I am experiencing severe slow gut motility for which I was prescribed digestive enzymes (zenpep). I don't know if it is really helping, but I am having bloating, gas and bowel movements with mucus or just passing gas and mucus. Feeling bad and faint all the time. I have reported these feelings to the oncology team. I just want to see if others in this community have similar experiences and advice. Thank you.
