What does a new tumor on MRI mean for radiation?

If it hasn't metastasis get an ablation...radiation is unnecessary...and leaves permanent damage..use that as a last measure

Sounds like a Y90? I had one done 3/13 on a 3cm tumor, which worked and it killed the tumor, so wishing you well on your Y90 procedure! After a couple days, I did develop some nausea after the procedure and just asked the IR Dr for some Zofran which helped. I have another 16mm tumor the MRI found in July, and I am having a Microwave Ablation on 3/11 for that. My Oncologist says they are just handling the tumors as they appear.
