10 months agoHi all. Does anyone have the PTEN mutation/ loss ? What medication regimen are you on? I am currently on Kisqali and letrozole foe the last 3 months and recently learned I have the PTEN loss mutation which apparently means resistance to hormonal and targeted therapy... wondering what others have experienced... thanks

Finding out about genetic mutations and their potential impact on treatment can feel overwhelming, especially when dealing with concerns about therapy resistance. Many community members have shared experiences with various genetic factors affecting their treatment journeys, and connecting with others who understand these challenges can provide valuable insight and support. Consider discussing these findings with your oncology team to explore all available options and stay informed about emerging treatments that may be relevant to your specific situation.

6 months agoNaz, I have the PTEN mutation. My oncologist was waiting for a new PET scan. She was thinking 1-Truqap, 2-Everolimus or 3-Xeloda. I have new bone and liver lesions. So I started Xeloda last week.
