a year agoI am 2 months since my medistatic breast cancer diagnosis. I have it in my spine, my breast, my bones and lymphnodes. I’m taking exestimeme and Kisqali. Sorry for the spelling mistakes. Is anyone taking kisqali and are you having side effects??
Accepted Answer
Many people in this community have experience with Kisqali and can share their insights about how it has affected them. Side effects can vary quite a bit from person to person, so hearing from others who have taken this medication alongside hormone therapy might help you know what to expect and how to manage any challenges that come up.

6 months agoI too have been on Kisqali for 6 weeks. My WBC was too low and now my liver function is too high. I am now on 40 0 mg and I have no side effects at all. I have a terrible cold now and had to stop kisqali today starting my 3rd week. I have MBC spread to lung and lymph nodes.

6 months agoMain side effects are hair thinning, skin more easily broken and longer to heal, and fragile nails. I keep nausea in check by eating a protein (30 gr) focussed breakfast. I believe strength training would help with the extra fatigue.

6 months agoNow, I've stopped Kisqali early because of inflammation in my lungs. I see my oncologist Wednesday we'll discuss what to do next. I'll get a PET scan in 2 months. Right now wait and see... anxiety producer.
