I was on Enhertu for a year. Did very well on it but after a year it stopped working. I am now on Trodelvy. I’ve had three rounds and so far handling well. Few side effects but manageable.

I have the same mutation that you have, but I am taking a medication called truqap. I have been on this medication since November of last year;so far so good and the tumors on my back and the Mets are stable and I don't have much pain. However, one of the side effects is sore mouth and I must watch what I eat. Cancer sucks...

Elease, did you have problems with blood sugar with Piqray ? It's bringing CA 27-29 way down but playing havoc with my blood sugar.

I couldn’t get my glucose below 200 let alone 100. I was taking jardiance and Januvia. No matter what sugar control I was taking, the glucose was still high.so my doctor took me off of picqray and put me on Enhertu. Side effects are brutal for me. Bone Bain is a pain bust I know know the pain will go away.

I have the same treatment. In addition I get Xgeva for my bones. Diarrhea is another side effect, but the sores in my mouth are worse for me. My glucose levels are okay, thanks to Jardiance. However, when I can't eat because of mouth sores, my sugar drops below 60 and I carry glucose gumies with me. My oncologist says that Truqcap can also cause the blood glucose level to drop. Oh, and before I forget, the side effects don't show up at first, one must first take this stuff for a while. Cancer meds suck

Monica wow sounds like the side effects of Truqap really suck I just had most of one round so far so I guess I’ll look out for these. What does Jardiance do for you?

Jardiance is for diabetes and my diabetes was well managed without any drugs until I started to take Truqcap. If you don't have diabetes and you can't measure your blood sugar ask your oncologist if you should have a glucose meter. I hope you will not get the side effects. Good luck

Monika thanks for the insight and I’m sorry you have to take Jardiance in addition to the Trucap. My Oncologist’s office called and they scheduled a fasting blood glucose test

Do think it’s working? since my Dx April 2023 Stage IV was told to me, My progression is steady. Meaning it’s still growing. The Enhurtu is so hard on my body. I’m sick every day for 2 weeks after. This year, I had to read about drugs that approved. I hope they work!!! I had 3

I'm so sorry about the side effects you have. I have been on Truqcap since November of 22, and my cancer is stable. Just talk to your oncologist. Good Luck

Was on Enhurtu for 7 months but last scan showed mets in bones in lumbar area not responding, even though liver, lungs and lymph are shrinking but it was affecting my lungs. They are switching me to Lynparza. I felt like tolerated Enhurtu pretty well. Days 5-9 felt low energy and off but no nausea or vomiting. Best of luck to you!

I was on Enhurtu for 2 1/2 years. My markers and cancers decreased. Then they started going up with some new spots. I found out my HER2+ became HER2-
