I was on Ibrance/ fulvestrant for two years. My insurance decided it was too expensive and they put me on Kisqali/Fulvestrant at the time I was in remission.. in January I found out my cancer had flared up in my L3. Small lesion, had radiation and started on Capacetabine. So far so good. Does anyone know anything about Capacetabine? Side effects are less than tube other drugs and my Dr says it will work.

Capecitabine is an oral chemotherapy medication that many patients find more manageable than some other treatments, and it's encouraging to hear the side effects feel more tolerable. Each person's experience with different medications can vary, so connecting with others in this community who have used capecitabine could provide valuable insights about what to expect and helpful tips for managing any effects that might arise.

Hi, I was on Xeloda for @6 months. One of the most common side effects is hand and foot disease. I kept my hands and feet from getting angry and peeling by proactively using high-urea hand cream under white cotton gloves and socks overnight. My hands became a little tight and mildly sensitive to cold but this was the only symptom I experienced on Xeloda. Unfortunately, my tnbc ended up spreading to my other breast but was able to successfully treat with proton radiation and now keeping cancer at bay with Trudelvy.

Thank you I will get the lotion because my feet are definitely angry. God bless you and I wish you well.❤️

I have hand/foot syndrome, very sensitive to hot/warm water. I use urea 40% cream. I also have diarrhea during my off week. Plus, I get itchy bumps on my hands and fingers.

Are they going to put you back on Ibrance? Seems like it wasn't too expensive if the alternative didn't work!
