a year agoJust had my second chemo for metz to liver. PET scan showed also spine and right hip. Concerned because liver lit up like a Christmas tree no dark at all. Can't find out how long liver can last enzyme levels continue to rise have doubled since Oct 30. No liver no chemo. Anyone know?

This sounds like an incredibly overwhelming and frightening time, and these concerns about liver function are completely understandable. While liver involvement with metastatic cancer varies greatly from person to person and depends on many factors that only the medical team can fully assess, there are often treatment options and supportive care measures available even when liver enzymes are elevated. Many people in this community have navigated similar challenges with liver metastases and may have valuable experiences to share about working with their oncology teams to monitor liver function and adjust treatment plans as needed.

6 months agoYour oncologist should start you immediately. If you are HR positive, the first line is AI and Kisqali. Normally, it works pretty quickly. Praying for you 🙏🙏🙏

6 months agoI have Mets to liver (since 3/23) and am currently getting Enhurtu. Has slowed things down, but all my years of treatments (7.5) are taking a toll on my liver too. Going as long as I can since chemo benefits outweigh damage so far. I hope they find a treatment plan that works for you. New meds and plans all the time. 🤞🏻🙏🏻
