2 years agoMy pet scan showed that two lymph nodes in my pelvis had grown. 4 months later they say that it was not lymph nodes but my ovaries. I have no ovaries. They were removed In 2006. What the heck. What should I expect? Doc having scans read again.

That sounds incredibly frustrating and concerning to have such a significant mix-up with scan interpretations, especially when dealing with metastatic breast cancer. Having the scans re-read is definitely the right next step, and hopefully this will provide clear answers about what was actually seen on the imaging so your care team can move forward with the most appropriate treatment plan.
