3 years agoAre bisphosphonates really helping us that much? I am scared of the EXPOSED BONES in my jaw side effect.
Accepted Answer
Concerns about bisphosphonate side effects like osteonecrosis of the jaw are completely understandable, and it's natural to weigh potential benefits against risks when making treatment decisions. Speaking with your oncology team about your specific situation, risk factors, and alternative options can help provide the personalized guidance needed to make the choice that feels right for your care plan.

6 months agoI just started taking Prolia for osteoporosis. I also used to work for a rheumatologist that specializes in osteoporosis/osteopenia. While i worked there for 14 years, we had several people taking bisphosphonates and none had any issues.
