De novo metastatic breast cancer does occur in younger patients, though it's less common than in older age groups. Many patients in this community have shared similar experiences of unexpected diagnoses discovered through routine scans or after seemingly unrelated symptoms. Connecting with others who understand this journey, whether diagnosed de novo or through recurrence, can provide valuable support and shared experiences that help navigate this challenging path.
