Has anyone had a bad rash or DRESS syndrome from chemo meds? I’m on Truqap and went to ER with fever and bad rash all over. Some labs were really high including liver and eosinophils so ER doc diagnosed DRESS syndrome. My oncologist is ok with restarting Truqap but I’m worried it will happen again. Rash is gone now after a week on prednisone.

Never had a rash from chemo. That sounds awful, Pat. Hope you are feeling better. I did get a rash from Kisqali. It was temporary though and subsided after a week or so. Good luck with the restart!!

Skin reactions from chemotherapy treatments can be concerning and uncomfortable, and it's understandable to seek others' experiences with these symptoms. Many community members have shared their experiences with various treatment side effects, including skin-related ones. Consider discussing any skin changes with your oncology team, as they can help determine the best approach for managing these reactions. Others in the community may have helpful insights to share about their own experiences with treatment-related skin issues.

Cathy, what was the prescription cream, please. For 4 days I have been itching on my face, neck, ears, upper back and very sensitive to heat. I thought it might be from a product my hair stylist used on my extremely dry, fizzy, curly hair. My oncologist nurse has not called me back yet.
