15 hours agoHi, ladies I am stage IV lobular HR*/ HER2 low (+1) patient since May 2024. Original dx was May 2008, had DMX, AC/T chemo and radiation. Now on Kisqali and Letrozole. Looks like I am losing my body fat and muscles even though I am active, eat well (including proteins) and walking as much as I can. My tests including Signatera are good and stables. But my body shrinks, my hair (whatever left of it) changed structure, my blood pressure jumps up and down despite Amlodipine and I have problem falling asleep. Is that Kisqali?

10 hours agoThe side effects you're describing - muscle and fat loss, hair texture changes, blood pressure fluctuations, and sleep difficulties - are concerns that many patients on CDK4/6 inhibitor treatments like Kisqali report experiencing. These physical changes can be distressing, especially when you're doing everything right with diet and exercise. It's encouraging that your test results are stable, and bringing these specific symptoms to your oncology team's attention can help determine the best approach for managing them while continuing your treatment.
