Coping with a Stage 4 Breast Cancer Diagnosis at 27

I did the Headspace cancer series and it really calmed me. Acceptance is hard and slow. I look at the night sky and the vastness seems to help me have perspective. Hugs. ❤️

Hugs. There is a great Facebook group for people under 40. There are many in their 20’s. You are dealing with many things us older people are not. It’s called “Living with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer.” One thing is that it gets much easier. I promise. It’s like getting hit with a truck at first. So much overwhelm. But eventually it just becomes your new normal. ♥️

Receiving such a life-changing diagnosis at any age brings incredible challenges, and it's completely natural that acceptance takes time. Many people in this community have found that connecting with others who truly understand this journey can provide comfort and practical insights during the adjustment period.
