Digestive side effects like these can be really challenging to manage while on treatment. Many people in this community have shared similar experiences with these medications, and it's worth discussing these symptoms with your healthcare team since they may have strategies to help manage them. You're not alone in dealing with these side effects - hopefully others here can share what has worked for them.

2 months agoI did. I would get constipated, then; have explosive diarrhea. Miralax, fiber did not help. Never knew when or where it would happen. I had it with the CDK4/6s. Ibrance and Kisqali. I keep several Depends in my car and 1 in my purse. I also keep Imodium and Dulcolax in my purse. If you don't have a BM in 2 days, take 2 Dulcolax before bed. If you have diarrhea take 1 Imodium every time you have it. In either case stay hydrated. CDK4/6s dehydrate you, up your intake to 72 oz per day if possible. I also take a probiotic daily. As always, check with your oncologist before starting new OTC meds and hydration routines. I think this is the worst side effect. Praying you will get it controlled.

a month agoI’m on Ibrance and Itovebi and having issues with diarrhea. I thought maybe it was the metformin and jardiance I’m on to counteract the high blood sugar the Itovebi causes, but I’m not sure. Not happy about it tho.

9 days agoThis happened on my ibrance/letrzole. I checked w dr and take imonium AD and something for irritated tummy. I still wear pads just in case. ( and carry a change of clothes in the trunk plus clean up stuff. Without the omeprazole I can projectile vomit if a meal is too rich. Happened in my car and is a pain to clean up.
