Hey all! Have all of you had a Guardant test done? This was just brought up at my last visit and it seems like this is something I should have had done immediately after my Mets dx? For those that have had it when did your Onc order it?

The timing of Guardant testing can vary depending on individual circumstances, and it's completely understandable to wonder about when this should happen in the treatment journey. Each oncologist may have different approaches based on factors like treatment history, current symptoms, and overall treatment goals. This sounds like a great question to discuss further with your medical team to understand their specific reasoning and timing recommendations. Others in this community may have valuable experiences to share about when their testing was ordered and how it fit into their care plan.

I had one but only because the Kisqali stopped working. So I’m not sure it needs to be done upon diagnosis. But everyone’s diagnosis is different
