I’m just about to start… 600mg. How are you feeling? I’m not looking forward to the side effects.

I was supposed to start it but my insurance just denied it. So then I found out all the side effects. I was told gi issues and prolonged qt as only issues. Now I find out it's called a chemo drug and I am a little nervous about taking it.

Its not chemo. It’s a bio targeted therapy. And yes, I will be tested every 2 weeks to monitor bloods and ECG… which tells me that this won’t be a cake walk… Kisqali works in conjunction with the AI. End result it is more effective than AI alone.

I'm on the last week of my first 21 days on Kisqali. No side effects except being tired. No GI issues at all. Had my 1st labs just Monday & my white blood cells were a little low. I also get 2 injections of Faslodex.I'm on 400 mg of Kisqali.

I just started it a month ago. Thus far, I have not had any side effects at all. 600mg. I do have to have blood work every two weeks to make sure that everything is in order and ECG every month, but so far so good, I haven't even been fatigued which I was expecting the most... I just hope it works..

Yes, I have. No problems. Off now while I take Xeloda for gallbladder cancer. Will resume in 2-24 when completed Xeloda.

Coming to the end of my 1st cycle — in the 4th week (a break from Kisqali) — side effects were relatively minor (considering what I was anticipating) — minor diarrhea alternating with constipation, an incipient headache (that I resisted taking a pain pill for, save one day) and nausea (again mild, more like watery mouth). First bloods came back with white blood cells dropped by half, which the nurse declared fine, but when I got home I could see that I am hovering above neutropenic (I requested a copy of my bloods and EKG). I’m optimistic. The worst is that everything EVERYTHING looks like it might be a symptom. That (sharp focus/anxiety) should settle in with time. I have noticed itchy eyes — would hate to rub my eyelashes off. 🤣🤣🤣

I'm now 1 week into my 2d cycle. Still no noticeable side effects except my blood work shows that my abs neutrophil count dropped down to a 0.86, which is considered neutropenia... Because I feel absolutely fine and do not have any other symptoms, my doctor said that i could keep taking it for 2 more weeks, but when we check blood again if it isn't above 0.9 I will either need to stop taking it until my levels go above 0.9 or reduce my dosage from 600 mg to 400 mg... 🤷🏼‍♀️
