Managing neuropathy and lymphedema can be incredibly challenging, and many community members share similar struggles with these difficult side effects. Consider discussing symptom management options with your healthcare team, as there are various approaches that might help provide some relief, and connecting with others here who understand what you're going through can offer valuable support and practical tips.

6 months agoChristine, I'm sorry you're suffering from these side effects and wish I could help you. Have you tried compression sleeves? Maybe PT? Praying you will be pain free. I care, Ginny

6 months agoChristine, I just read an article on this app OconLive , "Managing Treatment Toxicities". Duloxetine aka Cynbalta can help neuropathy as well as cooling compression gloves or sleeves. I've been on duloxetine since before my treatment started 8.5 years ago. Read the article and print it if possible.Talk to your oncologist and/or psychiatrist. Still praying for you 🙏 Ginny

6 months agoChristine, I’m also struggling with lymphadema. Have been going to PT with a fantastic certified cancer OT who does manual lymphatic drainage. Also am wearing compression garments for both day and night and swimming alot. I do notice a huge increase in my symptoms when my immune system is stressed (illness, or just life stressors) and also the weather- hot and humid really does a number on me. And if you can find what helps you feel better (low impact excersise, massage, meditation or yoga, etc.) there is so much you can do to help alleviate some of your symptoms. Dont give up. There are new treatments/advances in the works, including lymphatic mapping, lazer treatments and pharmacological interventions. I’m hoping you can find relief soon.
