a year agoHas anyone had blood sugar spike really high using Piqray? I know it's a side effect, but monitoring while taking Metformin and it's not coming down yet!
Accepted Answer
This side effect can be really challenging to manage, and it's concerning when blood sugar levels remain elevated despite taking Metformin. Many patients in this community have shared similar experiences with Piqray affecting their blood sugar control. It would be important to reach out to your oncology team or endocrinologist promptly about your current levels and the fact that they're not responding to your current medication - they may need to adjust your diabetes management plan or consider additional monitoring while you're on this treatment.

6 months agoNo but try to watch your sugar in everything and keep your carbs to a minimum. Maybe that may help I am following a keto plan mostly plant based. But with lean chicken and fish. Only blueberries as fruit and green apple peels. Spending a fortune on Amazon hoping it will lower my glucose levels. Sourdough bread is ok too
