7 months agoHello All, I have been on Kisqali and Faslodex since June 2024 and all lesions have shrunk significantly or completely gone. PET scan last week showed reduced absorption in all remaining areas but 3 spots on the liver showed an increased absorption. Radiologist reported local progression of disease. Has anyone else experienced this type of mixed result and what did your medical team recommend? Thank you
Accepted Answer
Mixed results during treatment can feel overwhelming and confusing, especially when there's both positive progress and new concerns to address. Many community members have shared similar experiences with scans showing both improvement and progression in different areas, and oncology teams typically have various options to consider in these situations, including adjusting current treatments, adding targeted therapies, or exploring other approaches based on the specific pattern of response.
