a year agoI am curious. Has anyone here been on Kisquali 400 mg and Letrozole and went into remission? I am on the two and wondering if it is a possibility for me?
Accepted Answer
Many patients in this community have shared positive experiences with CDK4/6 inhibitors like Kisqali combined with hormone therapy, and some have achieved excellent disease control for extended periods. While each person's response to treatment is unique and depends on many individual factors, this combination has helped many people maintain stable disease and good quality of life. Consider discussing your specific situation and what remission might look like in your case with your oncology team, as they can best evaluate your progress and outlook based on your scans and lab results.

6 months agoI'm starting Kisqali 400mg on Sunday. I've been on Kisqali 600mg for over a year. I take it with exemestane, Xgeva, Vit D, calcium, denosumab every 3 months. I took letrolzole prior with Ibrance. I've heard women say they are in remission, maybe if they only small tumors in an organ. My met cancer is in my bones. I believe NEAD is very possible. No Evidence of Active Disease. X-ray shows my lesions. I have extensive bone metastasis. It's not below my elbows or knees. But, virtually in all the rest of my bones. PET scans show one lesion lighting up in my spine. I've been on hormone therapy for 8 yrs 9 months. You can do this. QoL is good!

6 months agoI too am on Kisqali 400mg and Letrozole and I too have pondered this question. For me right now it’s one day at a time and I have good and bad days. Wishing you the best! I was taking Kisqali 600mg for over a year and the side effects were kicking my butt before I asked my oncologist to lower the dosage, I’m feeling much better now.

6 months ago@Betty L what kind of side effects did you have with the Kisqali
Community Member
6 months agoGI issues, trips to the hospital for stomach issues that continued until the dose was lowered. Since then no hospital visits.

6 months agoMy oncologist lowered my dose, too. I had diarrhea, just couldn't leave the house for about 3 weeks. I purposely forget these times. Happy to be here. I love my life.
