Changes in appetite and food preferences are really common experiences in this community, and many others have shared similar struggles with meal planning. Consider starting with small, simple foods that sound appealing and don't hesitate to ask family or friends to help with cooking when possible - sometimes even having someone else choose what to make can take the pressure off.

Hi Lynette. It’s horrible when you just don’t feel like eating. But avoid sugar and high carbs when possible. Cancer loves sugar, I found good keto bread and dark chocolate on Amazon Watch your intake of high fat dairy and red meat. I make chicken soups and eat fish a lot veggies are good. Sweet potatoes are good for you and. Eggs. Try an omelet with your favorite vegetables or light cheese. Low carb bread. I make smoothies with almond milk. And blueberries. Good luck. Keep your nutrition up to fight the fight. I’m here for you!

Jane thanks so much for the info. I just spent time with my daughter and she thinks maybe it’s GERD that’s making this worse. I know I’m not getting enough nutrition I have to get this figured out. Stay strong 🙏🏻🥰

Maybe try a low sugar protein shake. Chocolate, vanilla, fruit flavor.

I know. It’s such a project. Once in a while you gotta treat yourself. Even once a week. What is life without. Our comfort food

Instagram helped me with some good alternatives but sometimes you just want regular food especially after you leave your oncologist’s office. It’s like you took my blood. I fasted I’m starving now I want a good meal. lol

I like anything with cinnamon on it. Cinnamon raisin toast, cinnamon cereal. It kinda wakes up my taste buds. Also I drink lemon water. The citrus tastes good:)

I feel better eating spinach and other greens. Lots of salads work and I am on Kisquali. My appetite is way down.
