3 months agoI also have the same diagnosis but 2 vertebrae dissolved. Prior to that I had no clue I had cancer - just thought it was arthritis in my back. I had surgery in my back to add two 10” rods, 2” screw, 2” spacer, multiple bolts cemented to my spine. But I can walk on my own. I get monthly infusions for my bones and take Letrozole and Ibrance. Ibrance causes my white platelets to really drop. My oncologist put me on Verzinio but I had a bad reaction so he put me back on Ibrance. I have to have labs every 2 weeks. I also feel like I’m walking alone. I have great faith in my Lord and that’s gotten me this far. Also, I am a Realtor and have had the best year in my 24 years as a Realtor and that’s because of my Lord.

3 months agoI take 2 Advil and 2 Tylenols to decrease Verzenio muscle pain. Also Icy Hot and Capzix Cream (wear gloves when spreading) is helpful. Also ask your doctor what else you can do.

2 months agoSandra, thank you for your prayers. I Initially was in so much pain that I don’t remember the first 5 days beginning with the ride in the rescue vehicle. When I became conscious after the back surgery, I felt that I had been walking and talking with Jesus. My relationship with Him is stronger than ever. I wouldn’t be able to survive without my Jesus. I often ask Him why I’m still alive. There is a purpose.

a month agoYes there is a reason why you’re still here. Jesus is walking a long each one of us. He is always 🙏❤️there with you. I pray and ask for his guidance everyday. Shelbie I feel that some of us are here to help others with their journey and to remind them that Jesus is just a prayer away.
