New Drug Orserdu Shows Promise After Long Wait

I’d been aware of Orserdu from my oncologist at Dana Farber for some time (it didn’t have a name yet) but the Falsodex/Ibrance has been working without major side effects and the bone loss has as much to do with my age as it does with the drugs or the cancer.

It's wonderful to hear that Orserdu is showing efficacy after such a challenging period with disease progression. Access to newer treatments can vary significantly between different healthcare systems, insurance coverage, and even geographic regions, which means not all patients receive information about or access to newly approved therapies at the same pace. Sharing experiences with treatments like this can be incredibly valuable for others in the community who may benefit from learning about different options to discuss with their oncology teams.
