Thank you for sharing these thoughtful strategies for managing these challenging cognitive and emotional effects of treatment. Mindfulness practices like breathing techniques can indeed be valuable tools for finding moments of calm and clarity during difficult times. The positive affirmations and outlook shared here could inspire others in the community who may be experiencing similar challenges to explore mindfulness approaches alongside their medical care.

Yes! It takes some work but it is possible to be able to deal with this very uncertain time fighting Cancer and being on Chemotherapy for the rest of my life. I wonder what will take me out first? The Cancer or the poison I am taking? Guess what? It’s all going to be okay. I’m living in today and grateful for whatever time I am given ❤️🙏🌅 Peace to all

I understand Melissa. It will be 2 years since I've been dealing with my mestastic breast cancer. I just started my new treatment with the Herceptin, perjeta and Taxol. I've definitely come to a understanding that I will be getting chemo the rest of my life. I'm doing the work in my life. I'm thankful and grateful for my life. All is well to all of us. 🌸

I can relate! I say I'm on the 'chemo for life plan'. It's depressing to think about chemo treatments forever! BUT - mine is possible to shrink and go in remission. We really don't know if what's happening, but I think about ALL the possibilities. I try to think about any upcoming holidays or family events. I read affirmations daily. I read prayers everyday. A friend sent a 'Jesus Always' devotional book. A little daily inspiration can make a difference in support to keep us going! We WILL get thru this and enjoy on the other side! Keep fighting!

Yes, Jan M. we will get through this and we are getting through it. With healing and recovering self-love and self-care. I go to the Dempsey Center in my community of Lewiston Maine. To get my holistic care. We have to find the balance and the truth of our lives. We are here! 🌸

Gemmz J, What kind of holistic care are you using?

@ Kathleen L. My holistic care is dealing with my life as a whole. Spiritually mentally emotionally and physically. Meditation. Acupuncture. Reiki. Massages. Mental health therapy. Using cleaner products. Not eating too much meat. Hydration and fruit. Getting toxicity out of your life. People places and things. It's a whole work. And I'm doing it. Got to take a hold of the situation and yourself in this chaos. Find your own comfort, your own remedy. And be your own advocate. All is well. 🩷
