12 hours ago“Life is a toolbox” In that toolbox are the tools that you have used to build and create the person that you are. Not every tool fits every situation,or is needed to get the job done. The toolbox is filled with your Decisions,Approach, Efforts,Kindness,Trust, Respect, your Perseverance. These are the tools that you have used to build and shape yourself and the same tools you can use to repair or rebuild yourself as well! Sometimes all you need is a small adjustment, realignment, a different perspective. When you are told that you have cancer, those tools become much more powerful. Mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Every situation is different. But if you go to that toolbox you will find the right tools to repair renew and overcome! “Don’t Let The Bad Days Win!”

7 hours agoThis toolbox metaphor beautifully captures how the inner strengths that helped shape you before cancer can become even more powerful resources during recovery. Mental and emotional rebuilding often involves rediscovering these existing tools - your resilience, compassion for yourself, and ability to adapt - while also being patient with the healing process that takes time after such a significant life experience.
