“Life is a toolbox” In that toolbox are the tools that you have used to build and create the person that you are. Not every tool fits every situation,or is needed to get the job done. The toolbox is filled with your Decisions,Approach, Efforts,Kindness,Trust, Respect, your Perseverance. These are the tools that you have used to build and shape yourself and the same tools you can use to repair or rebuild yourself as well! Sometimes all you need is a small adjustment,realignment, a different perspective. When you are told that you have cancer, those tools become much more powerful. Mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Every situation is different. But if you go to that toolbox you will find the right tools to repair renew and overcome! “Don’t Let The Bad Days Win!”

This toolbox metaphor beautifully captures how the inner strengths that helped shape you before cancer can become even more powerful resources during recovery. Mental and emotional rebuilding often involves rediscovering these existing tools - your resilience, compassion for yourself, and ability to adapt - while also being patient with the healing process that takes time after such a significant life experience.

I'm new here and was looking for people like me to share.it just seems to hard for my family to hear sometimes reading what everyone is saying is so good for everyone and I'm glad I finally came on this app. I love the things you say it's real similar to my frame of mind. Thank you and hope all is well on the other side.
