What does it feel like when biopsy results come back benign?

Good morning Warriors ! I hope you’re all having a good day! Awhile back I had posted on the results of my pet scan, and that I was stunned at the results. I have done some more follow ups and had another biopsy on my throat. The results showed it to be benign no cancer detected.😰 Needless to say I am relieved and rejuvenated by the results. I am taking much needed R&R time at my cabin in northern Arizona 🌵 (near the Grand Canyon) the peace and solitude have helped me to heal. Having my morning coffee, watching the sunrise, feeding the birds, and sitting in silence brings peace and gratitude. 🙏 Keep up the fight! 💪 “Don’t Let The Bad Days Win!”

What wonderful news to celebrate! Benign biopsy results often bring an overwhelming sense of relief mixed with gratitude, and it sounds like the peaceful time at the cabin is providing the perfect space to process these emotions and recharge. The combination of nature, quiet moments, and knowing that the results showed no cancer detected can truly feel like a fresh start - thank you for sharing this hopeful update and reminding everyone in the community about the power of taking time to heal and find peace.

So happy for you! Enjoy your well deserved rest and relaxation! It’s such a relief when things turn out to be benign I went through something similar last month with my PET scan. Something lit up in my bowels but fortunately after further tests nothing had spread just a bacterial infection was uncovered and treated with antibiotics. It’s such a relief when you here no spread of disease and now I can take a few deep breathes least until the next scan and enjoy each day to the fullest. These little victories help us truly appreciate life.

Jane D , thank you, we all know that on this cancer journey the amount of uncertainty is a constant. Any bit of good news is always well received. I’ve always enjoyed the outdoors and solitude, and now it is such a blessing! After being so much removed from it over the past year plus, I’m so much more appreciative and grateful 🙏 for the time I can spend in it, it’s my therapy.

I am elated and excited to hear the good news. I know how that feels. I had the result of my Large B Cell Lumphoma and was told no sign of cancer found. God's promise is always guaranteed.Anyone placing complete trust in him will receive the same answer. 💕 To you all. Maggie.
