6 days agoWe all can relate to each other’s journey in some capacity. PUT THE WORDS, “I TOO” IN FRONT OF EACH LINE. Thought it was nothing serious. Thought it was just an ear ache. Was spitting out blood. Was stunned by the diagnosis. Was scared. Had radiation treatments. Had chemotherapy. Witnessed another patient die next to me. Had Blood tests. Spent time in the hospital. Had biopsies. Had pet-scans. Could not sleep. Cried at night. Had days laying in bed shivering. Had constipation from medications. Got extra hydration IV’s. Could not eat solid foods. Had nausea. Lost over 30 pounds. Had diarrhea. Experienced exhaustion. Experience fatigue. Experience neuropathy. Experienced stumbling and falling. Walked on shaking legs. Am a care giver. Exercised when I didn’t feel good. Increased my activity slowly. Increased my energy levels. Increased my appetite. Increased my moods. Decreased my circle. Changed my prospective. Have become more spiritual. Persevered through trauma. Can relate to your struggles. 🙏 I too, Am grateful! 🙏

6 days agoJane D, we all have our stories, some are more severe than others, as I read about others journey I think mine is not that bad. I hope that I have been through the worst part of it. No matter what stage or type of cancer we have, we here all share that common thread. My hope is by sharing, it will help to ease someone else’s discomfort. 🙏
