4 months agoHi, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer a year and a half ago. I did two 6 week rounds of BCG with negative results. I am just finishing a different 6 week treatment of Gemcitabine and Docetaxel Chemotherapy. I will be having a cystoscopy on January 6, 26 to see if it worked. If it did work I then get one treatment of the same treatment once a month for two years. If it didn’t work I’m not sure what the next step will be. Jan K

4 months agoHi Janice I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I have stage four gastric cancer since 12/2022. Just hang in there, there are many treatments available for cancer patients and they will find the right one for you. I hope some day your cancer will go in remission, so just stay the course and keep on fighting.

4 months agoWhen treatments don't provide the hoped-for results, it's natural to feel uncertain about what comes next. Your medical team will likely discuss several options with you, which could include different types of immunotherapy, clinical trials for newer treatments, or in some cases, surgical approaches depending on your specific situation. The important thing to remember is that having backup plans doesn't mean giving up - it means your doctors are being thorough in exploring all available paths to help you. Many others in this community have faced similar crossroads and found strength in connecting with others who understand this journey.
