I was just diagnosed w breast cancer had a lumpectomy and two lymph nodes removed. Waiting on test results to see how to treat this. I'm hearing maybe 5 radiation treatments but not sure yet. My sister died from breast cancer that spread to everything so it's hard for me to believe in treatment

Waiting for test results while processing a new diagnosis can feel overwhelming, especially when family history adds extra weight to those fears. It's completely understandable to feel uncertain about treatment when past experiences with loved ones shape current perspectives. Many community members find it helpful to focus on one step at a time during this waiting period, and connecting with others who understand this journey can provide valuable support and different perspectives on treatment experiences.

My wife had lumpectomies.Fortunately only 1 lump was close to malignant. She still has to be vigilant vis a vis mammograms but no other signs
