6 days agoI was diagnosed in 2019 NSLC I worked at the same place for 27 years as a supervisor now things are shifting new CEO out challenge our job security I feel they want to phase my job out. I can’t fathom working somewhere else but I will if I have no choice. Can people with terminal cancer retire early with full benefits is there something I can do?

5 days agoYou have to be stage 4. Nothing will cure you. I have spindle cell carcinoma. No cure right now. Live day by day.

5 days agoThis sounds like an incredibly stressful situation to navigate while managing a cancer diagnosis. Many people with terminal diagnoses do have options for early retirement with benefits, including Social Security Disability Insurance and potentially employer-specific programs for medical retirement. Consider reaching out to your HR department, a social worker at your cancer center, or contacting Social Security directly to explore what programs might be available to you - they can provide specific guidance based on your situation and work history.
