Managing both conditions during treatment can feel overwhelming, but reaching out shows real strength. Many cancer patients find that having a mental health professional who understands both bipolar disorder and cancer treatment can be incredibly helpful for developing coping strategies during the most challenging days. Consider connecting with others in this community who may share similar experiences, as peer support often provides unique comfort and practical tips for getting through those difficult work days.

Mental Health Experts can really make a difference! I speak with one every other week and keep notes between appointments - to bring up on our next appointment. I would start with my primary or your oncologist for a referral. These days you can check them out before meeting with them. There is ALOT... but if you find the right person, can really make a difference! Mine helps me look at things 'differently' than I do which makes me very lucky!🍀 do some searches, read testimonials, you'll find the 'right' type of support. ❤️‍🩹
