Any other folks with neuroendocrine cancer? Specifically lung NETS?

Many people in this community are navigating neuroendocrine tumors, including lung NETs, and connecting with others who share similar experiences can provide valuable support and understanding. This type of cancer often comes with unique challenges, and the mental health and mindfulness aspects of managing it are just as important as the physical treatment.

Hey Denise, I don't have NETS but I have NSCLC, non-small cell lung cancer. I was diagnosed in November 2023. Initially, I was told that it was stage 1 but shortly after I was told it was stage 3a. I've had radiation and immunotherapy. My two most recent PET scans were negative for active cancer cells. Technically, I'm in remission. I'll be on immunotherapy for about another year. It has been a difficult process but seems to be worth it at this time. I'm not familiar with NETS but I hope you find a successful treatment plan for it. I wish you strength, support and s positive attitude on your journey! Please let us know how things are going with you.

Yes. I had a lung resection Oct 24 to remove a tumor and have been getting scans every 3 months. Next scan is coming up Sept 4. Always very anxious before.

Hang in there Linda. You will be in my thoughts and I'll be sending you positive energy. I completely understand the anxiousness, I'm the same way. My scan was on June 20th and it was great. I'm hoping yours will be awesome! Please let us know how it goes.
