I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Have you tried to get a second opinion for the skin healing. Maybe a wound care center or a plastic surgeon could help. It sounds really overwhelming. As mentioned in another comment, you could reach out to your insurance company for psychiatrists or a psychologist who can help you cope with this. You can get through this!!! As an RN and Health Coach, I would suggest working on your self talk. I understand that will take some acceptance of your body changes. Also, try to find some compassion for yourself and your skin that needs to heal. I understand how you could feel like a freak…. I don’t know how it feels to have such a physically altering surgery. Deep belly breathing and meditation can also help. I hope you can find some support and get your beautiful skin healed and can continue treatment. Hang in there.
