5 months agoSo many types of cancer and so much info to share - I like the warrior mentality and to carry on and take it/live day by day . I've never spent this much time in my bed in all of my life . Sitting or laying down is my new normal

Finding strength in the warrior mentality while adapting to significant physical changes shows incredible resilience during cancer treatment. The shift to spending more time resting is a common experience that many in the cancer community navigate, and taking things day by day can be a powerful coping strategy that helps manage both the physical and emotional challenges that come with this journey.

5 months agoHello Ellen! Yes there are more cancers than I knew of! None the less, when you hear the words “you have cancer” it stuns you. From that moment on you will be be tested physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. You become a warrior for your own life. We all handle it differently, the main thing I think is staying positive keeps you strong. Keep up the fight! 🙏 My motto has been “Don’t Let The “Bad Days Win” I even had a bracelet made with that engraved on it that I wear all of the time.

5 months agoThat's a good one - I may have to do the same when I am more mobile - don't do much now and have to really work hard to be positive when the tummy pain fatigue and worry of the future - sometimes we can be self sabotaging when we think we are helping our self through holistic ways or diet changes - it odd who gets hit with it and at what age - still so much unknown about auto immune yet we can fly to different planets - seems like the therapies should be further along with cell manipulation but I'm no scientist for sure !

5 months agoHey Ellen, warrior mentality is always good in my book. One has to fight for all in life, including staying alive with cancer and/ or any other illness. The sitting and bed thing might be unavoidable, but you still have your mind to escape to wherever you want to go. Stay in the fight warrior!

5 months agoPlease try to stay strong. It’s so hard dealing with the cancer and even harder mentally when it seems like people really don’t understand what you’re going through. I’m here for you and truly understand I’ve been dealing with multiple myeloma for 14 yrs when I got diagnosed my dr said I had 6-8 weeks to live my spirit didn’t except it and god didn’t give me the feeling like that’s all the time I had . My faith has kept me here it hasn’t been easy but I had to stay strong I’m still here it’s not easy but I’m holding on just the same please stay strong and trust in god that you’re still here for a reason it’s your testimony I’m here for you to vent it you need to… Blessings 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
