That feeling of being overwhelmed after a cancer diagnosis is completely understandable, and many people in this community have shared similar feelings when they first received their news. Reaching out here shows real strength, and connecting with others who understand what this journey is like can provide comfort and practical support as you process everything and move forward with your care team.

Hey Rosa, freaking out is a perfectly normal reaction. I certainly freaked out when I was diagnosed with lung cancer. Do you have a good support system? Having a good support system is very helpful. Keeping a positive attitude is very helpful in your treatment regimen and a good support system can really help in that regard. I wish you strength and peace as you travel through this journey. Fight like a warrior!

Support system hmm. Just me and my wife but it's not enough. My wife pass out just looking at blood other stitches. So she's no help. I have to be strong im trying I really am.

I'm sorry to hear about your lack of support system. While it would be helpful, it isn't a necessity. You sound like a very strong person. I know it's exhausting to be so strong all the time but you definitely sound like someone who can do it. Just concentrate on the closest task and keep on conquering one by one. Keep on fighting like the warrior you are! Sending you strength and positivity for your journey!

Hey there Rosa my name is Will, I have stage IIIb bladder cancer. I’m not going to say that I know what you are going through because no one but you knows that. But cancer is a scary disease and we all have those days when we are down and everything looks black but we just can’t let those days win. If you need a shoulder to cry on I’m a good listener. And I hope you’re feeling better today

Hello Rosa! One step at a time, that’s how these battles are won. We have all faced days when we feel like we can’t do anymore. We are all here to help support each other. Post as often as you want or need! Keep up the fight! Thoughts and prayers are with you! 🙏
