What should I expect while waiting for bone biopsy results after cancer?

6 days agoI’m waiting for bone biopsy results after 4 years NED a lesion was found on my pelvis in what was supposed to be my last PET scan. It felt like a gut punch , but I am not surprised as I was stage 3c Cervical cancer with abdominal lymph node involvement. I just feel sad. I was starting to feel safe .

Those feelings of sadness and lost safety are completely understandable after experiencing such an unexpected turn. While waiting times can vary depending on the specific tests being performed and the lab processing the samples, many people find it helpful to focus on one day at a time and lean on their support system during this uncertain period.
