Hi was diagnosed with Uterine/Endometrial cancer and will be undergoing a full hysterectomy in a couple of weeks. At that point if additional treatment is needed, we will manage it. I'm dealing with not insignificant pain, but it comes and goes. Is that normal?

Pain can be a common experience for those facing this diagnosis, and while everyone's situation is different, it's completely understandable to have questions about what to expect before surgery. The timing and nature of pain can vary greatly from person to person. This is definitely something worth discussing with your medical team - they can provide the best guidance for your specific situation and may have options to help manage any discomfort while you prepare for your upcoming procedure.

Hey Cathleen, my wife went through the same thing about a year ago. She had the same kind of thing with symptoms coming and going. I think it's a shame that we haven't informed women better about the symptoms of reproductive cancer. It was difficult for me to convince her to get checked out. But she did get checked out and treatment went well. She is now scheduled for checkups every six months and so far so good. I sincerely hope your situation is in the early stages as well? Please let me know how things go for you. Take good care, Garey
