CDK4/6 inhibitors with hormone therapy for HR+ metastatic breast cancer?

I have HR-positive, HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer and I'm currently on first-line treatment with fulvestrant alone. I recently learned about CDK4/6 inhibitors like palbociclib, ribociclib, and abemaciclib being combined with hormone therapy for my type of cancer. My oncologist and I may discuss these combinations for future treatment options if my current therapy needs adjustment. I'd love to connect with others who have a similar diagnosis and have experience with CDK4/6 inhibitor combinations. • If you've used a CDK4/6 inhibitor with hormone therapy, what was your experience like day to day? It's wonderful that you're actively learning about treatment options and planning ahead with your care team. CDK4/6 inhibitors combined with hormone therapy have become an important treatment approach for HR-positive, HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer, and many community members have shared experiences with these combinations. Connecting with others who have walked this path can provide valuable insights about managing daily life during treatment, and hopefully others will share their experiences to help you feel more prepared for future discussions with your oncologist.
