How to find caregiver support for my wife during my stage 4 cancer?

I’m in Stage 4 bladder cancer. Just took Palliative SBRT Radiation and I’m on Enhertu every three weeks. There is no cure; a holding action at best as I trade cancer growth vs side effects. No prognosis. Maybe a year; maybe two. Cause of death unknown. Maybe lung, liver or bone. My main concern is for my wife now. She is my sole caregiver and has no support. We can’t find anything. Virtual during evening hours would be best. Any recommendations?

Finding caregiver support during this challenging time is so important, and there are several resources that can help provide your wife with the virtual evening support she needs. Many cancer centers offer caregiver support groups that meet online, and organizations like the American Cancer Society, CancerCare, and the Caregiver Action Network provide free virtual support groups and counseling services specifically designed for caregivers of cancer patients. Consider reaching out to your oncology team's social worker who can connect you with local resources, and don't hesitate to explore respite care services that might give your wife some much-needed breaks.
