3 months agoIn October I had a spinal MRI for chronic back pain. The spine Ortho also did labs. On my return visit, he told me he wanted me to see an Onocologist/Hematologist because my labs were way off,(along with deterioration of disc's etc), The Onocologist did more labs, and wants me to get an upper/lower GI test because my hgb was 8.9 , and a discussion about multiple Myeloma. I am a bit frustrated. I would rather get a bone Marrow biopsy and get this diagnosis confirmed. This waiting is nerve-wracking. I have the back ache, low hemoglobin, and unrelenting fatigue, broke

2 months agoI had severe back pain when diagnosed, was on a job as usual carrying around 100 lb loads ,next day small job back pain made me stop the job ,then got diagnosis, started treatment over a month later,Drs suggested pain medication,I declined, figured if I felt better would cause more damage,a retired hospital administrator, previous operating room nurse told me about kypoplasty,I looked into it and had it done, one of my vertebrates was crushed I think in half, took 3 months to get it done was too long they got some height back, the sooner it's done they can get more height back, with cancer they have to put something in first to kill the cancer in that area first took pain mostly away
