Can multiple myeloma cause widespread body pain?

Just diagnosed with MM with a light chain and M spike. My kidneys and liver are not performing well and apparently haven't for a few years (news to me). Ive been rushed into an Oncologist once they got the results back Thursday. Ive been in pain from head to toe for about 7 months. But, I had Brain surgery a little less than a year ago for a subependymoma brain tumor and Ive had several back surgeries, I thought all of it was due to the surgeries. I feel like a fool. But, I was caring for my fiancee the last several years who was very sick and passed away May 13th, 2026 at the age of 49. It took everything I had to take care of her. I made her a promise that I would live longer than her and I'm a man of my word. Ive placed all my faith in my lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My question is was all this pain Ive had the last 7+ months due to the MM? I really appreciate any enlightenment as Im new to all of this.

Did Revlimid cause your husband's hospitalization?

Hello. My husband had his first round of Revlimid in 2023. He ended up in the hospital with complications. It did help his numbers. Currently he is just being watched closely.

Should I do Revlimid alone or add Dara for MM maintenance?

I was diagnosed with kappa light chain MM on 12/30/25 at age 78 and went into remission around 6/15/26. I am about to begin maintenance therapy but have 2 different medical opinions and would like any thoughts on what might be best. One doctor wants me to take 5mg of Revlimid every day and a second doctor wants me have a monthly shot of Dara... plus take 5mg of Revlimid daily. They expect this to last 2 years and remission to last about 5 years. Any comments would be appreciated.

How to stay active with multiple myeloma during Darzalex treatment?

Is TP53 deletion in relapsed myeloma a death sentence or is there hope?

I have had multiple myeloma since 2008. Had a stem cell transplant in 2009. Have done well with maintenance therapy through the years. M spike started in the fall of 2025. It reached 1.4 in April so my hematologist ordered bone marrow biopsy and PET scan. Results show no lesions or bone/kidney damage. I feel okay but 15% of bone marrow is myeloma. He says I have relapsed myeloma. I have deletion of TP53 gene at 17p13.1 gain of chromosome 7 and 9, deletion of 13q and loss of IGH/14q, FGFR3/4p and MAF/16q. He says this will cause myeloma to be more aggressive. He is sending me to MM center at Univ.of Arkansas for further evaluation. I am a born again believer in Jesus Christ and a man of prayer but this is concerning to me. Can anyone "interpret" what the deletion of TP53 gene means? Is this an imminent death sentence or is there hope to put the myeloma back into remission? concerning to me

How to cope with walking difficulties after light chain myeloma diagnosis?

I have light chain mm and was diagnosed with 3 weeks ago. Was hospitalized for 1 month. Had anyone else have issues walking from one room to the other. Frustrated to say the least. Chemo sucks
