Has anyone else developed t-MDS after cancer treatment?

Hi Beth, Im working towards a diagnosis myself. You might like going to the MDS exchange. It’s more specific to that particular area. Ohhhh I am so sorry that you got this -in trying to treat- the other!😰🫂🫂❤️❤️ lots to learn… maybe I’ll see you over there ok? How old are you? I’m 69. MS for 37 years… but it’s all good! Found a wonderful healthy way to manage THAT… no drugs ever! Yeahhhh I’m the pharmaceutical company’s worst nightmare! 👏👏👏

I was diagnosed with low grade MDS October 2025. I am not on meds but I have to do monthly blood work as My red blood cells are too low, so I am anemic. My oncologist says if my hemoglobin goes below 8.0, I would need blood transfusion. I had Chemo for stage 4 breast cancer over 30 years ago but no doubt the chemo contributed to my bone disorder/diagnosis. I stay positive and at 80 years old, am enjoying my retirement with lots of traveling!
