What are my options when chemo stops working?

16 days agoI am writing for my dad - we are wondering what options there are when chemo and growth injections are no longer effective. He was diagnosed in July 2025.

16 days agoWhen first-line treatments like chemotherapy and growth factors become less effective, there are often additional treatment options to explore with the medical team, including clinical trials, supportive care approaches, and sometimes newer targeted therapies depending on the specific type of MDS. This is definitely a conversation worth having with the oncologist or hematologist, as they can review the current situation and discuss what paths forward might be most appropriate given the specific circumstances.
