8 days agoI’m new to this conversation. My doctors lab said I have PV and ET. I had a bone marrow biopsy to determine which is the predominate disorder. I also have JAK2 with letters and numbers after it. I get results Dec 3. I’m nervous about what I’ll hear. Any idea of what’s ahead of me?

8 days agoWaiting for bone marrow biopsy results can feel overwhelming, especially when facing a new diagnosis. Many people in this community have walked a similar path and found that having a clearer picture from the bone marrow results actually helps their medical team create the most appropriate treatment plan for their specific situation. The JAK2 mutation information combined with your biopsy results will give your doctors valuable details to guide your care going forward. Consider writing down any questions you have before your appointment so you can make the most of your time with your healthcare team.
