Does lung cancer treatment cause diarrhea? Looking for tips to manage it

I have non-small cell lung cancer and I'm currently going through treatment. I've been dealing with moderate diarrhea that started recently - this is something new for me. My care team mentioned that digestive changes can happen during cancer treatment, and I'm planning to discuss this with my oncology team. I'd love to connect with others who have experienced similar digestive issues during their lung cancer journey and hear about your experiences. • How did you manage diarrhea during your treatment, and what helped you get through day-to-day activities? • What tips do you wish someone had shared with you when you first experienced digestive changes during treatment?

Digestive changes, including diarrhea, can indeed occur during lung cancer treatment and affect daily routines. Many community members find that staying hydrated, eating smaller frequent meals, and keeping a food diary helps identify triggers. Connecting with your oncology team about this symptom is wise, as they may have specific recommendations or medications that can provide relief while you continue your treatment journey.
