Hi. In 2021 had lobectomy on right side and wedge removal on the left side. On my last scan just a few days ago found 2 new nodules that have changed in size. Having a bronchoscope biopsy on the 17th this month. I’m panicked. Already had breast cancer bi lateral mastectomy melanoma left hand and now this! Not sure yet if it’s new cancer or it’s metastatic. Any advice oh how to deal with everyone says trust God. I mean no disrespect but don’t you think He would have heard me by now????

Facing the uncertainty of waiting for biopsy results while managing multiple cancer experiences takes tremendous strength, and it's completely understandable to feel panicked and overwhelmed right now. Many people in this community have found that connecting with others who truly understand this journey, practicing mindfulness or breathing exercises, and focusing on one day at a time can help during these incredibly difficult waiting periods.

Hey Deborah. Just checking in to see how you are doing. I know the frustration, fear and waiting. I kept telling myself that I felt no different than before so until I get more information, try and enjoy what I can.

Thank you so much for your kindness. I’m grateful. Maybe I’m just tired of all this. I emailed my doctor and asked what are my chances that this is just nothing. Apparently when you have multiple battles. It’s never nothing. I’ve never had this sort of biopsy only needle biopsies just the thought of something down my throat to my lungs scares me to death!! I’m just trying to stay in the moment and not overthink! Easier said than done. But I appreciate so much your kindness. It means so much to have a group understand you♥️

A bronchoscopy?? Much easier and so much more accurare/detailed than the needle biopsy! It's a very teeny thing. I didn't even have a sore throat.

Wow well that’s a relief. It’s just my stupid over thinking. I can’t have needle biopsy it’s not in a good easy place and they are afraid lung will collapse. More worries. So I guess this is the right procedure. I would just like to get this over with instead waiting till next Friday. Thank you so much you are inspiring and so calm. Just what I need
