Your experience with pleurodesis is something many others in this community can relate to, and sharing your recovery journey could be really helpful for fellow patients who might be considering this procedure. Many community members have undergone various surgical treatments for stage 3 lung cancer and often find comfort in connecting with others who understand the recovery process. This is a great place to hear from those who've walked a similar path and to share updates on how things are going for you.

Hi Sandy, I’m actually scheduled for today at noon at UCSD for PLEUROSCOPY with rapid pleurodesis surgery. I don’t know what to expect from this procedure but I’m a stage 4 lung cancer patient and the reason for the procedure is to stop the fluid building up every day and I have to go weekly for the fluid to be removed at the hospital. How is your recovery going so far? I’m so sorry for all of us and I wish all of us good luck. Any type of cancer is brutal and those treatments are horrible!!! God bless your hearts everyone 🙏🙏🙏
